About These Terms
These Terms of Service apply to your use of Kitchen & Bath Factory's website, landing pages, forms, resources, booking tools, and related communications and services. "KBF," "we," "us," and "our" mean Kitchen & Bath Factory.
By using these services or accepting these terms through a form, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
For a remodeling or cabinetry project, your signed written Service Agreement defines the project-specific terms. If it conflicts with these general terms, the written agreement controls, subject to applicable law.
Our Services
We're a design-led kitchen and bath remodeler serving Northern Virginia. Our services include kitchen and bathroom remodeling, custom cabinetry and countertops, design consultations, material selections, and project planning and coordination with independent contractor partners.
The exact scope, responsibilities, pricing, and timing for your project will be set out in a written agreement before work begins.
Inquiries and Ballpark Meetings
Submitting a form or booking a Ballpark Meeting starts a conversation about your project. It doesn't create a construction contract, authorize work, or guarantee a final price or installation date.
You can book an In Showroom or Virtual meeting. Check your confirmation for the meeting time, time zone, location or virtual meeting link, and preparation details. Please provide accurate contact information so we can send your confirmation and reach you if plans change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, use the options in your confirmation where provided, reply to our message, or call (703) 775-4478.
Ballpark ranges, examples, photos, and timelines are for planning and discussion. Your home's conditions, final selections, measurements, and written scope determine the actual project details.
Your Project Agreement
Remodeling projects require a signed Service Agreement before work begins. It outlines:
- The scope of work and inclusions and exclusions.
- Pricing and the payment schedule.
- The estimated timeline.
- Each party's responsibilities.
- Applicable warranties and other project terms.
Independent contractor partners set their own labor pricing. Their responsibilities and any separate agreements will be identified as part of your project planning.
Payments and Changes
Payments follow your Service Agreement. Generally, a deposit is required to begin design work or order materials, progress payments are due at agreed milestones, and final payment is due upon completion. Deposits are typically non-refundable unless the agreement or applicable law provides otherwise. Missed payments may delay or suspend work.
You may request changes during a project. Changes must be documented and approved in writing through a Change Order. A change may affect cost, materials, timeline, and scope.
Cancellations and Refunds
Project cancellations follow your signed Service Agreement and applicable law. Generally, deposits are non-refundable, refunds for unused materials or incomplete work are considered case by case, and custom-ordered materials can't be refunded, except as provided in your agreement or required by law.
These project payment and cancellation terms don't create a fee for simply submitting an inquiry or booking a Ballpark Meeting.
Designs, Content, and Photos
Drawings, renderings, designs, and plans provided by KBF remain our intellectual property until the project is fully paid for. After final payment, you may use the provided plans for your personal remodel with KBF. They may not be sold, shared, or used by another contractor without written permission.
Our website text, images, logos, and resources belong to KBF or their respective owners. You may use our resources for your personal project planning. Other reproduction or commercial use requires permission.
Only submit photos or files you have the right to share. Sending project photos for consultation preparation doesn't give us permission to publish them in marketing. We'll request your consent before using images of your home in our portfolio or marketing.
Using the Website
Our website and downloadable resources provide general information. Cost ranges and timelines are examples and may not apply to your project. We aim to keep information useful and current, but availability, materials, and project details can change.
Please don't submit false or unlawful information, upload harmful files, misuse forms, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the site. Links to other websites and third-party tools are provided for convenience; those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
